Bonifanti is a historic Italian confectionery company that, since 1932, has been producing panettoni and colombe following traditional recipes, with a strong focus on the quality of ingredients and the exclusive use of natural raw materials.
Driven by the desire to communicate its values and philosophy, the company launched La Ricetta Bonifanti—a series of short videos for social media that, in each episode, explores the different “ingredients” of the production process, offering a visual experience that speaks of passion, tradition, and authenticity.
For this project, I collaborated with Jolanda Fiarè, who created the illustrations using digital collage—a visual language that blends photographs, archival materials, and textures with stylized graphics and illustrations, creating an aesthetic that evokes craftsmanship and attention to detail, perfectly in line with the brand’s artisanal identity.
To maintain visual consistency and strengthen the connection with the imagery, we chose a cut-out animation style inspired by stop motion, featuring micro-movements and slight imperfections that bring texture, warmth, and authenticity to the sequences.
The result is a cohesive and recognizable visual style, where textures, colors, and images intertwine in a delicate yet dynamic narrative that celebrates the excellence of Bonifanti’s products.
