A body floating and breathing in the void, contracting and releasing in a suspended space: this is the trailer for 21 edition of the Far East Film Festival, the largest European festival dedicated to East Asian cinema.
The main challenge was to create an animation starting from static images used for the festival graphics.
To bring them to life we used a rigging system combined with 2D and 3D deformation effects, and of course a lot of pulsating energy, the same strong pulsating energy that moves the festival audience.
